decorated accommodation and many of the guest bedrooms overlook the
village green. Guests can avail of king, queen and twin bedded rooms
many of which are designated as non smoking. Each bedroom is

internet access, tea and coffee making facilities and central
heating. Secure, free, private car parking is available for hotel
guests. The hotel shop, The Craft Studio, offers a wide range of

with its antique furniture and fireplace is available for private

Castle Hotel is its main public bar which is an institution in the
village. Known locally as Johnnys, this unspoilt gem of a bar is
renowned for its excellent pints of Guinness, and local brews
Beamish and Murphys.

Blarney Castle, where visitors come to kiss the famous Blarney
Stone, is just a short stroll from the Blarney Castle Hotel. The
unique Blarney Woollen Mills shopping complex is also nearby. There
are many fine golf courses within a short drive of the hotel
including Fota Island Golf Club and Old Head Golf Links where you
can enjoy a round of golf surrounded by some of the most spectacular
scenery in the area. The village of Blarney, surrounded by wooded
countryside and gently rolling hills, is perfectly placed for
exploring the south west of Ireland.

Blarney. The Blarney Woollen Mills, just a stones throw from the
hotel, is a store offering the best of Irish Craft and Design as
well as its famous Aran Jumpers. Also close by is Blarney Castle
where you can get the gift of the gab by kissing the Blarney Stone.
The Jameson Distillery in Cork has a heritage centre dedicated to
this well known and old brand of whiskey. A tour of the distillery
comprises a history of brewing and the Jameson family and ends with
a tasting test. Within easy driving distance is Cobh which was the
last stop before Titanic met its end and also the last stop for
millions of Irish Emmigrants sailing to America. The 'Titanic'
Heritage Centre in Cobh provides a fascinating history of the famous
ship.
